Our Experience

With over 17 years of guiding experience in his game-bag, Don is now in his 11th year as as owner / operator of Don's Guide Service.  His wife, Cheryl is in her 7th season. Don has pretty much hunted and fished everything he could all his life, whereas Cheryl has 17 years of bow hunting experience, mainly white-tailed deer, but also turkey, elk, black bear, and mule deer.

Why are we in this business?
This is what we love and we love what we do

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy and approach to life, which we share with our guests, is to simply have a wonderful day in God's country (nature).

We do our best to fill limits, but the quality of a hunt isn't always correlated with the numbers of game harvested or fish caught. We want people to relax and have a good time, while being safe.

We want your trip with us to be a memorable one. Through our business, many of our clients have become very good friends. And for that, we are grateful.

Who are our clients and where do the come from?

Our clients are just like you! They include families, friends, acquaintances and business associates. Some come from small towns, some from big cities.  Some work for themselves or small businesses; some work for large  corporations; some are retired!  Out here, out in the field, we have one thing in common, enjoying the location, the day and each other. We literally have clients from coast to coast, including Hawaii, and once even had a fisherman from China stay with us.
